Patti ONeill is the President of ONeill & Bergado. Her expertise is in all areas of taxation, from planning to preparation. She has extensive experience in taxation related to all types of entities: individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, estates and gift. She has a Master’s of Taxation from Golden Gate University.
She is very experienced in working with the Internal Revenue Service defending taxpayers in audit. She has worked with various Attorneys on estate tax audits gaining valuable experience in understanding what the auditor is looking for in any audit.
Patti works in cases of divorced and divorcing taxpayers. This is a specialized area of the tax law. She understands the nuances and implications of determining community property, allocation of income and expenses, filing status and other relevant topics.
Patti has worked in many varied industries and has practical experience in areas such as restaurants, real estate, retail/wholesale, manufacturing, service industries, gas stations, car washes and agriculture.
Patti believes in the power of planning, whether it be planning for your current year tax situation or planning for your business growth. Patti has worked with many small businesses, leading them through strategic planning sessions to the creation and implementation of growth plans.

Gale Bergado is Vice President of ONeill & Bergado. Gale’s areas of concentration include income tax planning and tax compliance of individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts. She has considerable experience with financial statement reviews, compilations and certified audits of small businesses, as well as consulting with small to medium size businesses to help improve efficiency of their accounting department and operations.
